Food Share

Food Share at Moor Lane Church

Moor Lane Church aims to help meet the needs of local people.

We are working with a local charity to provide food to those in Cranham and the surrounding area.  Typical food available includes bread, bakery items, eggs. fresh fruit and vegetables and these are donated by local supermarkets. We aim to support each family or household referred to us or who apply through our application form.

The current situation, has brought us both challenges and opportunities and we’re really looking forward to supporting our community in this way.

So what is “Food Share” exactly?

We work with Fare Share to help reduce food waste by distributing fresh food to local people – food that would otherwise have been thrown away.

At Moor Lane Church we accept donations of fresh groceries from local Supermarkets and make them available to our local community once a month on the first Sunday of the month. Please come and pick what you need from the Church between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
